About the role#
EQT Corporation is seeking a Civil Construction Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This 12-week program provides exposure to the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects, including civil site development, grading, utilities, and public roadway construction. You will work in both office and field environments to gain experience in project coordination, construction oversight, and safety compliance.
What you'll do#
- Support field inspections and document construction progress.
- Review construction drawings, site plans, and as-built documentation.
- Participate in pre-construction and progress meetings with contractors and engineers.
- Track quantities, materials, and daily reports for active projects.
- Assist in updating project schedules and cost tracking logs.
- Conduct site safety and environmental compliance observations.
- Perform basic survey and layout support under supervision.
- Coordinate with permitting, engineering, and land teams to maintain project documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of civil construction methods, surveying, or CAD software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in both office and field environments.
