About the role#
Entegris is seeking a Product Design Co-Op to join the Advanced Purity Solutions team in Colorado Springs for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, six-month assignment. You will work alongside a Senior Product Engineer to support the validation and qualification of new injection molded components for the FOUP product line used in semiconductor manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Join a product team developing next generation products.
- Perform engineering analysis and make small changes to CAD models.
- Build pre-production samples to conduct empirical validation.
- Recommend parameters for product performance and qualification testing.
- Interpret, document, and report on interim and final engineering findings.
- Present your findings to the team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering program with junior year completed.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD design, preferably SolidWorks or Pro-Engineer.
- Knowledge of mechanics of materials and basic fluid mechanics.
- Understanding of or experience with statistics.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8a to 5p.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
