About the role#
Entegris is hiring a Maintenance Engineering Technician Co-Op for a 6-month assignment in Hillsboro, Oregon. This full-time position runs from January 2027 through June 2027. You will work on-site Monday through Friday, 8a-5p.
What you'll do#
- Maintain equipment to improve safety, reliability, uptime, and sustainability.
- Develop solutions for equipment performance issues while following change control requirements.
- Support continuous improvement projects for equipment.
- Assist with upgrades to equipment and facility systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for a co-op program.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading technical systems.
- Ability to write maintenance work instructions, safety instructions, and procedure manuals.
- A strong commitment to safety and a quality-focused mindset.
- Ability to work effectively with others and adapt to changing priorities.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
