About the role#
Entegris is seeking an Electrical Engineer Co-Op for our San Luis Obispo, California site. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment for the Winter 2027 term. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from January through June.
What you'll do#
- Update electrical drawings using SolidWorks Electrical and DraftSight.
- Support prototype, NPI, and production build activities.
- Help Manufacturing Operations with troubleshooting, design clarifications, and process improvements.
- Assist with electrical design reviews and validation tasks.
- Work on product line standardization for control panels, schematics, and electrical designs.
- Contribute to projects focused on design efficiency and quality.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS program for Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with 2D or 3D CAD software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.

- Compensation: $20 to $30 per hour, depending on skills.
