About the role#
Entegris is seeking a Designer/Drafter Co-Op for our San Luis Obispo, California site. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term, running for approximately 6 months from January through June. You will work on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
What you'll do#
- Create detailed schematics and designs using SolidWorks.
- Perform Manufacturing Redlines and process Engineering Change Requests.
- Draft drawings for various systems.
- Assist with new product development.
- Work with engineers and technicians to ensure design precision and quality.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a student.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Drafter.
- Proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM) creation.
- Knowledge of UL508A code requirements.
- Design and build experience in an industrial equipment environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to climb ladders as needed.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
- Note that this role does not offer immigration sponsorship.
