About the role#
The Information Services Intern provides technical support and administrative assistance within our health system. You will act as a first point of contact for technical issues, ensuring accurate documentation in our ticketing system while working to resolve problems quickly.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer support to achieve first call resolution.
- Image, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
- Assist users with system setups and modifications.
- Help research and implement information privacy and security standards.
- Create reports and support project management tasks like scheduling and data entry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a two or four year degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or Cybersecurity.
- At least 3 months of experience in administrative or scheduling roles.
- At least 3 months of experience providing technical and customer support.
- At least 3 months of experience configuring MS Office, Microsoft operating systems, PCs, and printers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

- Location: Chico, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: This is a part-time, per diem, and temporary role with variable hours ranging from 8 to 32 hours per pay period.
- Compensation: $19.28 to $26.03 per hour, based on experience.
