About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in construction project organization, compliance, and financial tracking. You will work with Project Coordinators, Project Accountants, and Business Managers to support active construction projects. This role is based in the Meridian, Idaho office and offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your school commitments.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support to project teams and assist with bid activities and project setup.
- Manage project documentation, correspondence, and tracking logs.
- Distribute and track subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Support compliance documentation, reporting, and change management processes.
- Assist with project closeout documentation and archival.
- Help with subcontractor payment administration, joint check documentation, and subcontract payment processing.
- Participate in project accounting tasks and financial reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- You must be within two years of graduation.
- A strong interest in construction accounting, business operations, or the construction industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Meridian, Idaho.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Rolling term. Typically 20+ hours per week during the school year and 40+ hours per week during the summer, depending on business needs.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
