About the role#
This internship offers a chance to gain hands-on experience within the marketing department at Encompass Health. You will work on projects alongside internal stakeholders and contribute to our communication and digital strategies. This is a paid, full-time position based at our home office in Birmingham.
What you'll do#
- Write and edit content, including news releases and internal communications, using AP style.
- Support social media and digital marketing efforts.
- Assist with the design and review of department presentations.
- Collaborate on various campaign projects.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Participate in intern-specific activities and prepare a final presentation on the skills you learned.
- Proactively learn about our company operations and department functions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, with preference for Junior or Senior standing.
- An interest in the marketing field and relevant coursework.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work on-site in Birmingham, Alabama, for the full duration of the program.
- Majors in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or Media Studies are preferred.
