About the role#
The Clinical Excellence Student Intern will work with the Clinical Excellence team to support educational initiatives, logistics, and internal communications. This is a paid, full-time summer internship based at our Home Office in Birmingham, Alabama. You will be responsible for completing assigned tasks and projects while learning about the department and the company.
What you'll do#
- Assist with planning and hosting an in-person meeting for over 300 participants.
- Manage logistics for on-site Clinical Excellence University courses and Leadership Orientation.
- Monitor course registrations in the Cornerstone On Demand Learning Management System and generate reports.
- Support hospital staff by answering questions regarding clinical courses in TalentWorks.
- Help with content entry for the Education SharePoint site.
- Proofread abstract submissions for professional conference posters and articles for newsletters.
- Manage ITG tickets routed to the Clinical Excellence team.
- Research and coordinate special projects.
- Participate in intern-specific activities and prepare a final presentation on your job skills.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a college or university, with preference given to Junior or Senior students.
- An interest in the Clinical Excellence department and relevant class experience.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work on-site in Birmingham, Alabama, from Monday, June 7, 2027, to Friday, July 30, 2027.
