About the role#
Enable Injections, Inc. is hiring a Product Development Co-Op for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will work directly with our engineering team to support the development of medical equipment.
What you'll do#
- Design and model device components and assemblies while creating detailed drawings.
- Design, procure, and fabricate simple tooling and fixtures.
- Coordinate and design engineering tests and experiments.
- Test processes, equipment, components, and products.
- Validate equipment and processes.
- Write and verify specifications and maintain product documentation.
- Prepare standard protocols and reports to communicate your results.
- Complete basic engineering documentation tasks.
- Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
- You can work independently and as part of a team.
- You possess good interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You can follow defined procedures and adapt to change with guidance.
- You are comfortable operating lab instrumentation and office equipment.
- You must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, move about the office, and lift up to 20 lbs.
