About the role#
Emil Anderson Construction is hiring a Civil Student for the Winter 2027 term. This position supports civil construction projects by coordinating site activities, assisting with inspections, and managing project data. You will work directly with field teams and the Project Superintendent to keep operations running on schedule. This is a hands-on role that requires working outdoors on active construction sites.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate project activities and develop project schedules.
- Perform quality control assessments and project inspections.
- Compile and complete reports.
- Assist the Project Superintendent with crew supervision.
- Assist with site surveying and quantity measurements.
- Perform other labour duties as required.
What you'll need#
- Successfully completed or working towards a degree or diploma in civil engineering.
- A valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
- Strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset.
- Natural problem-solving ability and clear communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within British Columbia for work assignments.
- Flexibility to work night shifts if required.
- Physical ability to walk on uneven terrain, climb slopes, and carry 20 kilograms.

- Location: Chilliwack, British Columbia.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour.
