About the role#
As a Marketing Communications Intern, you will support efforts to help customers understand and engage with Emerson solutions. You will work within cross-functional teams to contribute to integrated marketing campaigns, create content, and gain experience in strategic marketing that drives business growth. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and execution of global integrated marketing campaigns, including product launches and lead nurturing initiatives.
- Partner with campaign managers and subject matter experts to develop and deliver content aligned with campaign objectives.
- Coordinate marketing projects to ensure timely execution, quality deliverables, and adherence to timelines.
- Create content for demand-generation campaigns, such as social media posts, videos, podcasts, blogs, articles, advertising materials, website content, and newsletters.
- Contribute ideas and creative solutions to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Analyze campaign activities and apply insights to improve future marketing efforts.
- Collaborate across teams to support a consistent customer experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a team environment.
- Preferred: Demonstrated leadership through student organizations or community involvement, strategic thinking skills, and a portfolio showcasing marketing, communications, design, or content creation work.
- Preferred: Experience creating content for digital channels like social media, video, email marketing, or websites.
