About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry. You will work alongside engineers on projects that support product development, testing, and manufacturing. The role focuses on analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits and offers practical exposure to the IC product lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Support product characterization, validation, and engineering testing activities.
- Collect, organize, and analyze laboratory and semiconductor test data.
- Perform bench measurements and evaluate analog and mixed-signal IC performance.
- Assist engineers with troubleshooting and root-cause investigation of product or test issues.
- Document test results, procedures, findings, and engineering observations.
- Work with evaluation boards, test hardware, and laboratory equipment.
- Develop or improve scripts and tools for data collection and analysis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Foundational knowledge in analog circuits, electronics, semiconductor devices, or integrated circuits.
- Comfort working with technical data and performing detailed analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with an engineering team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in San Diego, California.
- You must be available to work on-site during the Fall 2026 semester.
- The role is paid at $23 per hour.
- We require a commitment of at least 15 hours per week.
