About the role#
The Information Security Co-Op Internship is a 12-month program offering rotations across various security domains. You will gain experience in areas such as vulnerability management, application security, cloud security, and the Cyber Security Operations Center. This program includes cohorts starting in January and May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational tasks to support multiple security domains.
- Run pre-production vulnerability scans on servers, databases, and network devices to validate security before systems go live.
- Evaluate and respond to potential security events detected by SEIM tools.
- Inspect pre-production code for internally developed applications to identify vulnerabilities for mitigation or remediation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Availability to work between 20 and 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 6 PM Eastern time.
- A solid grasp of technical issues spanning both business and IT environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- Positions are based in Indianapolis, Indiana, or Atlanta, Georgia.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring 1 to 2 days of in-office work per week. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office location.
