About the role#
This internship provides college juniors and seniors with hands-on experience in full-stack software development within a financial organization. You will work under general supervision to learn IT policies and apply front-end and back-end technologies to real-world projects. The role is designed to prepare you for a career in software development by integrating you into our IT team.
What you'll do#
- Assist with full-stack development projects and tasks to support the delivery of solutions.
- Troubleshoot and help resolve daily issues reported by end users.
- Conduct critical daily process validations, audit reviews, and research system issues.
- Participate in testing system updates and bug fixes while documenting results.
- Identify defects and communicate findings to your manager.
- Attend weekly IT team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and technical issues.
- Collaborate with coworkers and management on various team projects.
- Perform special projects as assigned by the information technology staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing an IT degree focused on software development or a related field.
- Availability to work 15 to 20 hours per week.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Natural analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- A high level of professionalism and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding member records.
- Motivation to learn and build a career in full-stack development.
- Eligibility for membership at ICCU.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, 15 to 20 hours per week.
