About the role#
The CarelonRx Internship is a 12-week, full-time program running from May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027. You will be embedded within a core CarelonRx team to gain hands-on experience in areas such as Pharmacy Operations, Clinical Pharmacy, Customer Analytics, Supply Chain, and Program Optimization. Interns contribute to projects involving clinical pharmacy programs, workforce analytics, inventory analysis, and strategic business initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research and analyze information to support business decisions.
- Develop reports, presentations, dashboards, and process documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and solve business challenges.
- Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and professional development activities.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to operational projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and strengthen business outcomes.
- Communicate project progress and recommendations to mentors and leadership.
- Complete assigned projects and present key accomplishments at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BA/BS degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Health Administration, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, process improvement, or project management concepts.
- Experience presenting information or collaborating on team projects.
- Interest in healthcare, health insurance, business strategy, technology, or operational improvement.

- Location: Lake Mary, Florida.
- Work Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position requiring consistent face-to-face collaboration.
