About the role#
Element Solutions Inc is hiring an R&D Intern to join the team in Ferndale. This role provides hands-on experience with daily operations and team projects. You will work on tasks that contribute to our research and development goals while gaining exposure to the chemical manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily departmental operations and administrative tasks.
- Support team projects by conducting research, gathering data, and preparing reports.
- Participate in team meetings, take notes, and follow up on assigned action items.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and files.
- Collaborate with staff to improve processes and contribute new ideas.
- Provide general support to team members as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- A willingness to learn new tools and systems.

- Compensation: $14.00 per hour.
- Status: Full-time internship, rolling term.
