About the role#
This internship provides experience in the food and beverage industry at our Gentry, Arkansas facility. You will work on real projects that impact our operations while learning the fundamentals of our safety processes. The program is designed to offer a well-rounded learning experience through a balance of project work and daily responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Complete a solution-seeking project designed to address a current problem within the department.
- Present your project findings to the team and senior leadership at the end of the summer.
- Engage in day-to-day tasks to understand our operational processes.
- Build a continuous improvement culture by identifying ways to reduce waste.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure we follow best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree program in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Agriculture.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours.
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds.
