About the role#
We are looking for a strategic and relationship-driven Student Success Coach to guide students and families through the college admissions process. You will act as a partner to families, helping students build competitive profiles, stay accountable, and navigate admissions milestones for highly selective universities. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your caseload while collaborating with internal teams to focus on high-level coaching and strategy.
What you'll do#
- Guide students and families through academic planning, extracurricular development, and application timelines.
- Help students build long-term profiles aligned with their academic interests and target universities.
- Advise students on how to position their achievements and essays for the UC application system and the Common App.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to families by providing accountability and strategic direction.
- Monitor student progress to identify gaps early and keep students on track.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a high-quality student experience.
What you'll need#
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in college admissions coaching, counseling, or mentoring.
- Deep familiarity with UC and CSU admissions systems, including PIQs.
- Strong understanding of Top 100 U.S. universities and admissions strategy.
- Ability to manage multiple students and families simultaneously.
- Comfort leading Zoom meetings and delivering clear feedback to students and parents.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States.
- Compensation is $70,000 to $80,000 per year, paid bi-weekly.
- Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays.
