Student Success Coach (College Admissions Coach)

About the role#

We are looking for a strategic, highly organized, and relationship-driven Student Success Coach to guide students and families through the college admissions process. You will act as a primary point of contact for a caseload of students, helping them build competitive profiles, maintain accountability, and navigate admissions milestones. This role focuses on high-level coaching and strategy, collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for families.

What you'll do#

• Guide students and families through academic planning, extracurricular development, and application timelines.
• Advise students on strategic positioning for the UC application system and the Common App.
• Proactively monitor student progress, identify potential gaps, and intervene to keep students on track.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to families, providing strategic direction and regular communication.
• Partner with internal teams, including essay editing and client success, to support the student experience.

What you'll need#

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in college admissions coaching, counseling, or mentoring.
• Deep familiarity with UC and CSU admissions systems, including PIQ strategy.
• Strong understanding of the Top 100 U.S. universities and broader admissions landscape.
• Ability to manage multiple students and families simultaneously.
• Proficiency in leading Zoom meetings and delivering clear feedback.
• Educational background in Psychology, Communications, or Business Administration.
