The Commercial Sales Intern supports the commercial organization by strengthening sales operations and enterprise selling methodologies. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and leadership teams to support the adoption of core processes and tools, including The Edlong Way and Salesforce enhancements. This is a paid, full-time internship.
What you'll do#
- Document and refine The Edlong Way sales process.
- Translate process drafts into polished visuals, playbooks, and checklists.
- Develop standardized templates to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Organize and maintain Blue Sheets and Gold Sheets.
- Create quick-reference guides and job aids for the sales team.
- Assist in mapping sales process stages within Salesforce and reviewing system requirements.
- Attend select sales meetings, internal strategy discussions, and shadow account planning sessions.
- Present project findings to sales leadership and lead portions of internal training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize information and create polished deliverables.
- Interest in sales, sales operations, or business strategy.
- Ability to work independently to define problems and draw conclusions.
