About the role#
As a Consolidation Operations Intern for the Roadtex team, you will support daily transportation operations. This 10-week summer program offers hands-on experience in logistics, inventory management, and warehouse processes. You will work alongside transportation leadership to improve workflows and contribute to real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with leadership to design and document new processes in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Implement these SOPs across different levels of the operation.
- Maintain accurate system data by updating inventory records, order details, and shipment information.
- Analyze network data to find ways to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Assist the sales group by identifying new client leads and cold warehouse partners.
- Support the daily flow of transportation business to ensure products are stored and distributed efficiently.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Ability to start on May 24th, 2027, and complete the full 10-week program.
- Strong skills in problem-solving, communication, time management, and project management.
- A professional, coachable, and organized approach to work.
- A team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn.
