About the role#
The Forensic Science Law Department at Duquesne University is looking for a student worker to provide office and event support. This position offers an opportunity to gain administrative experience within an academic department.
What you'll do#
- Provide general office support such as filing, copying, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Assist faculty, staff, and students with general inquiries.
- Prepare materials for classes, workshops, meetings, and department events.
- Manage event setup, registration, check-in, and cleanup.
- Perform data entry, manage spreadsheets, and maintain department records.
- Organize office supplies and assist with inventory.
- Deliver and pick up materials across campus.
- Complete other administrative projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are dependable, organized, and motivated.
- You are comfortable multitasking.
- You have a flexible schedule to assist during occasional department events.
Location & details#
- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Approximately 10 to 15 hours per week.
- Requirement: Federal Work-Study is required for this position.
