About the role#
The Duquesne Athletics Marketing Office is hiring a student for a work-study position. You will support the planning, promotion, and execution of marketing initiatives designed to improve the fan experience and increase engagement with university athletic programs. This role provides hands-on experience in sports marketing, content creation, and office operations.
What you'll do#
- Plan and develop social media content for various platforms.
- Capture content during practices and athletic events.
- Create and edit short-form video content and promotional materials.
- Represent athletics through on-campus tabling and outreach to increase event awareness and student participation in the Red Blue Crew.
- Assist with initiatives supporting the Red Blue Crew student section.
- Conduct research for marketing projects, such as promotional giveaway ideas and outreach contacts.
- Organize and maintain digital photo and video libraries by labeling, sorting, and archiving files.
- Handle general office tasks including data entry, preparing materials, and organizing supplies.

- A creative mindset with an interest in storytelling and content creation.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Engaging and outgoing personality when working with groups or individuals.

- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work-study is required for this position.
- This is a paid, on-site, part-time role.
