About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Audit Intern position based in Carmel, Indiana. The internship takes place during the winter of 2028, running from January through mid-March. You will work on-site and must be able to commit to 55 or more hours per week, with some weeks reaching up to 65 hours during the peak of the busy season. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Complete a structured onboarding and training program.
- Participate in all phases of an audit, including planning, fieldwork, and financial statement preparation.
- Collaborate with an audit team to help complete more than 35 audits.
- Prepare draft audit reports for review and feedback from senior team members.
- Manage work across multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Meet regularly with your in-charge to review progress.
What you'll need#
- Accounting major working toward the credit-hour requirements to sit for the CPA exam.
- Cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
- Completion of at least one intermediate accounting course before the internship begins preferred.
- Ability to take leave from spring semester classes.
- Reliable transportation to and from the office.
- Strong critical-thinking skills and an entrepreneurial, hardworking, and adaptable mindset.
- Willingness to take on new and challenging assignments.
