About the role#
This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Austin, Texas. The program runs during the Winter 2028 term, specifically from January through mid-March. You will work alongside our team during the busy tax season, gaining exposure to the same responsibilities as our full-time associates.
What you'll do#
- Complete a structured onboarding and training program.
- Prepare partnership, individual, personal property, and corporate tax returns.
- Complete an average of 200 tax returns during the internship.
- Learn directly from team members with specialized technical knowledge.
- Meet with your in-charge to review your progress and sharpen your skills.
What you'll need#
- You are an Accounting major working toward the credit-hour requirements to sit for the CPA exam.
- We prefer a cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Completion of at least one intermediate accounting course before the internship begins is preferred.
- You must be able to take leave from spring semester classes.
- You can commit to 55 or more hours per week during the internship.
- You possess reliable transportation to and from the office.
- You are legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
- You demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong work ethic, and adaptability.
- You have strong critical-thinking skills and a willingness to take on new assignments.
