About the role#
The CRM Intern supports marketing initiatives focused on subscriber engagement and retention. You will work within the Engagement and Retention Marketing team to learn how to use marketing technology, channels, and customer data to support lifecycle campaigns. This role offers exposure to teams across the organization, including Subscriber Revenue, Marketing Operations, and Product.
What you'll do#
- Assist with marketing tactics and strategies to engage and retain subscribers.
- Support the production and delivery of marketing materials by drafting creative briefs and tracking internal approvals.
- Gain experience with CRM tools to build multi-channel subscriber journeys and experiments.
- Collect, analyze, and share insights on campaign performance.
- Test, QA, and validate consumer-facing assets for CRM programs and go-to-market initiatives.
- Run competitor analysis on subscriber journey best practices.
- Develop and share original ideas while maintaining a thorough knowledge of Dow Jones brands and the news media industry.
- Communicate effectively in team and cross-functional meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate or graduate degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and July 2029.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to balance multiple projects.
- Ability to derive insights from campaign reports and make data-informed decisions.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to identify issues before they arise.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with or interest in CRM tools like Braze and marketing automation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: New York City, New York.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a requirement to work from the office three days per week (Tuesday through Thursday).
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027 - August 13, 2027).
- Employment: Full-time, paid position at $28.00 per hour.
