    About the role#

    The Construction (Self Perform) Intern supports the Construction and Architectural Services department. You will work with senior staff on project management tasks, document audits, and system development. This role focuses on maintaining accurate project records and supporting daily operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with project management tasks such as reviewing contract exhibits, preparing submittal lists, and coordinating lien waivers.
    • Support invoice processing by reviewing documents with the Construction Project Manager and uploading them to Procore.
    • Perform quantity take-offs to support budgeting and estimating efforts.
    • Develop and maintain systems and databases, including unit cost tracking from change orders.
    • Audit and organize project documentation in Procore and Legal Hub, including RFIs, contracts, drawings, specifications, and closeout documents.
    • Maintain milestone date tracking within Procore or Workfront.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure documentation accuracy and support project closeout processes.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • A basic understanding of construction processes and terminology.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • The ability to analyze data, prepare spreadsheets, and assist with cost estimation for projects and purchases.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, on-site internship located in Dallas, Texas.
    • The term runs from approximately January 7, 2027, to May 21, 2027.
