About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside professionals to complete client engagements and gain exposure to various industries. The program runs from January 2027 through April 16, 2027. You may choose between audit or tax service groups during your interview.
What you'll do#
- Work on engagement teams to complete audits, reviews, and compilations.
- Gain exposure to 8-12 client engagements across industries like manufacturing, construction, and retail.
- Travel to client sites to perform audit engagements.
- Compile and analyze financial information, test business transactions, and prepare financial statements.
- Collaborate with tax professionals on an array of returns, including corporate and individual filings.
- Conduct tax research and assist with tax projections.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting.
- A cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Completion of at least one intermediate accounting course by Spring 2027 is preferred.
- Ability to work 25-40 hours per week, including Saturdays.
- Strong drive to pursue a career in public accounting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven time management skills and a high degree of curiosity.
