About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will join our integrated design team in Los Angeles. You will contribute to the design of electrical systems for new construction and building renovation projects. This role is part of our Emerging Professional Experience program, which provides hands-on project work, mentorship, and learning sessions to build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with a licensed engineer on electrical system designs.
- Attend design team meetings to observe how a multi-disciplinary team coordinates projects.
- Assist with the development of construction documents using Revit.
- Visit an active construction site to see project progress firsthand.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year in an ABET-accredited Electrical or Architectural Engineering program.
- Experience or interest in BIM workflows, such as Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
- Interest in architectural building design.
- Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is a plus.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Los Angeles, California.
- The internship is a full-time, paid role during Summer 2027.
- The work modality is on-site and hybrid, following a four-day in-office model.
