About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will join our integrated design team to help create electrical systems for various building projects. You will work alongside licensed engineers and professionals from architecture, interiors, and other disciplines. This role provides hands-on experience with the design process, from early concepts through construction administration. You will participate in our Emerging Professional Experience program, which includes mentorship, project work, and weekly learning sessions.
What you'll do#
- Design electrical systems for new construction and building renovations under the guidance of a licensed engineer.
- Attend design team meetings to observe how a multi-disciplinary team coordinates their work.
- Use Revit to assist in the design and development of construction documents.
- Visit an active construction site to see projects in progress.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least one year at an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering program.
- Experience or interest in BIM workflows, specifically Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Interest in architectural building design.
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship.

- Locations: Denver, Colorado or Phoenix, Arizona.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 18 through August 6).
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
- Modality: On-site and hybrid. This is not a remote position.
