About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern in our Minneapolis studio, you will join our integrated design team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position where you will contribute to the design of electrical systems for various building projects. You will work alongside licensed engineers and collaborate with professionals across architecture, engineering, and interior disciplines.
What you'll do#
- Design electrical systems for new construction and building renovation projects under the guidance of a licensed engineer.
- Attend design team meetings and observe coordination among multi-disciplinary team members.
- Assist in the development of construction documents, primarily using Revit.
- Visit an active construction site.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year at an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering program.
- Experience or interest in BIM workflows, such as Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
- An interest in architectural building design is preferred.
- Having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. The firm follows a four-day in-office model with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 18 through August 6, 2027).
- Compensation: $20 to $26 per hour.
