About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will join our integrated design team to work on electrical systems for new construction and building renovations. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside licensed engineers and collaborating with professionals across architecture, engineering, and interiors. This role is part of our Emerging Professional Experience program, which provides mentorship, project work, and weekly learning sessions.
What you'll do#
- Work with a licensed engineer to design electrical systems for new and renovation projects.
- Attend design team meetings and observe how multi-disciplinary teams coordinate.
- Assist with the design and development of construction documents, primarily using Revit.
- Visit an active construction site.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year in an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering program.
- Experience or interest in BIM workflows, such as Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Interest in architectural building design is preferred.
- Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Orlando, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 18 through August 6).
- Status: Paid, full-time position.
- Work Modality: On-site and hybrid. This role follows a four-day in-office model with flexibility on Fridays.
