About the role#
This Software Engineering Co-op position offers the opportunity to work directly with the engineering department at Diversified Automation, Inc. You will gain hands-on experience through mentorship from experienced professionals while contributing to real-world projects and solutions within the automation machinery manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with PLC and HMI development.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on-site to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to ongoing projects.
- Conduct research and analysis to support software development efforts.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of hardware components.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a degree in electrical or computer engineering.
- Proficiency in PLC and HMI software, or a willingness to learn these systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work on-site at the Louisville office for the duration of the co-op.
