About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on an individual IT project for approximately 12 weeks, from May to August. Your work will culminate in a presentation to the executive team. You will be paired with an experienced mentor to help build your technical skills and gain exposure to the oil and gas industry.
What you'll do#
- Complete an assigned IT project.
- Participate in daily stand-up calls and release management activities.
- Review IT controls related to SOX compliance and cyber security.
- Collaborate with various departments to learn how they use IT systems.
- Provide administrative and compliance support to the team.
- Attend intern events and community philanthropic activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Returning to school for the Fall 2027 semester.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- A GPA of 3.20 or higher is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, or Midland, Texas.
- Candidates must be willing to work in Oklahoma City for the duration of the internship.
- Sponsorship is not provided for this role.
