About the role#
This actuarial internship offers the opportunity to join a team of over 300 actuaries at Desjardins. Interns contribute to critical business operations, ranging from life and health insurance to property and casualty insurance. You will work on projects that support the organization's financial stability and innovation efforts.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply modern forecasting models.
- Develop and execute projects within the actuarial department.
- Participate in business analysis and the development of professional solutions.
- Collaborate directly with a team of experienced actuaries.
- Contribute to innovation within the insurance sector.
What you'll need#
- Currently in the process of completing a second year of a bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills.
- A natural curiosity regarding innovation and new methodologies.

- Location: Lévis, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (two days per week in the office).
