About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to join a team of over 300 actuaries at Desjardins. You will work on projects that support the operations of the organization while contributing to innovation in the insurance sector. This position is designed to help you develop your professional potential within a large financial cooperative.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply modern forecasting models.
- Develop projects related to actuarial science.
- Participate in business analysis and the development of solutions.
- Collaborate directly with the actuarial team.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives within the insurance field.
What you'll need#
- Currently in the process of completing a second year of a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities.
- A natural curiosity regarding innovation.

- Location: Lévis, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, requiring two days per week in the office.
