About the role#
The Family & Youth Success Program at DePelchin Children's Center offers a clinical internship for graduate students in Psychology. This role provides hands-on experience in a supportive environment, focusing on foundational clinical skills through direct work with youth and families.
What you'll do#
- Provide individual and family therapy services under clinical supervision.
- Maintain a small caseload that matches your level of experience.
- Participate in real-time observation and supervision of therapy sessions.
- Complete clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Attend training, supervision, and case consultation meetings.
- Use evidence-based and strengths-based approaches during sessions.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and confidential practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate program.
- Ability to meet your university or academic program internship requirements.
- A commitment to working professionally and compassionately with children, youth, and families.
- Professional liability insurance obtained prior to your start date.
- Ability to pass a background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening.
- Ability to attend an in-person orientation.

- Commitment: Minimum 9 months, Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
