About the role#
The Research Services Intern assists with daily research activities at Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Safety. You will work on projects covering topics such as mobile and digital health, health information technology, and chronic condition management. This position provides support for ongoing studies under close supervision.
What you'll do#
- Recruit and enroll participants into research studies.
- Engage with patients during intake and follow-up visits.
- Collect quantitative and qualitative research data following study protocols.
- Ensure research activities follow established policies, procedures, and good clinical practice.
- Perform data entry and conduct quality assurance to maintain accurate, organized records.
- Conduct literature reviews and present findings to the team.
- Assist with the preparation of project deliverables.
- Attend departmental, team, and project meetings.
What you'll need#
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to accurately enter and track research data.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a research team.
- Current enrollment or background in majors such as Public Health, Health Administration, Nursing, Biology, Psychology, Communications, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Statistics.

- The role is a paid, part-time internship with a rolling term.
