About the role#
This position is for an Analyst Intern within the Resource Evaluation & Advisory group. You will join a team that provides engineering and geoscience analysis for energy industry projects. This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work in a hybrid capacity based in Calgary.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering and economic analysis for oil and gas reserve evaluations.
- Assist with reservoir engineering studies and due diligence projects.
- Apply petroleum engineering analysis to estimate recoverable volumes, production profiles, and economic viability.
- Develop a working knowledge of jurisdictional guidelines for reserve and resource estimation.
- Collaborate with a multi-discipline team to ensure technically sound analysis.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a third-year undergraduate or graduate engineering program, specifically in Petroleum, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Mechanical, or a related field.
- Availability to begin work in January 2027.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated leadership and initiative.
- Experience with Value Navigator, GeoScout, and Power BI is an asset.
