About the role#
As a Product & Application Security intern, you will join the Security & Resiliency Organization at Dell. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help manage security risks and influence security culture. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Round Rock, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members to support the response to product vulnerabilities.
- Build skills in secure software development and threat mitigation.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to strengthen vulnerability response processes.
- Engage with real-world security reports from customers, researchers, and internal experts.
- Attend weekly intern collaboration calls, technical training, and speaker series.
- Present your project to the broader organization at the end of your term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree program.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
- A foundational understanding of software development practices and core information security principles.
- Strong analytical, logical, and data-driven reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to discuss technical topics with software engineers and security professionals.
- Strong organizational skills to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

- Pay: $20.70 - $30.75 per hour.
