About the role#
This internship provides students with hands-on experience across various departments at Degy Entertainment, including Marketing, Festivals and Fairs, Roster Operations, Degy Impact, Booking and Sales, and Business Development. Interns are placed within a specific department one week after the start date to focus on daily operations, projects, and deadlines. This program is unpaid and designed for students seeking college credit.
What you'll do#
- Perform lead generation and market research to develop company sectors and build brand awareness.
- Contribute to marketing strategies and creative branding, including graphic design, social media management, and website optimization.
- Collaborate on special projects assigned by the CEO, ranging from logistics and event operations to new business development.
- Create marketing materials and assist with basic web design.
- Engage with stakeholders and support the execution of booking processes for talent and events.
- Communicate with potential and existing clients while maintaining a professional demeanor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, with a focus on Marketing, Business Administration, or Graphic Design.
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage time effectively.
- A reliable computer and internet connection for remote work.
- Confidence, resourcefulness, and a passion for the music and entertainment industry.
- Customer service orientation with comfort in client-facing interactions.
