About the role#
As a Structural Engineering Intern in our Anchorage office, you will gain practical experience through hands-on projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers and BIM designers to build your technical expertise during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform construction support services including shop drawings and submittal reviews.
- Conduct construction site visits to support ongoing projects.
- Create Revit detailing and drafting work.
- Complete preliminary structural analysis and design for various project types.
- Collaborate with the team to coordinate project details.
- Learn through hands-on experience and mentorship.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- You are a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate student or a master's degree student.
- You have effective communication skills.
- You are collaborative, approachable, and capable of working independently or in a team.
- You have an interest in structural engineering design and construction support.

- This is an on-site position located in Anchorage, Alaska.
- This is a paid, full-time summer internship.
- We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
