About the role#
Management Interns participate in an accelerated 9-week program during the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid internship based in East Peoria, Illinois. Those who complete the program successfully will be considered for the Management Trainee Program after they earn their degree.
What you'll do#
You will learn how the transportation industry works and study the specific policies, procedures, and philosophies of Dayton Freight. Your work contributes to the success of the Service Center as you rotate through different roles to understand how each position supports the company mission.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college
- Basic math skills
- Fluency in English
- Availability to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts throughout the program
