About the role#
This is a 9-week summer program designed to provide a deep look into the transportation industry. You will learn how our Service Center operates and understand how each role contributes to our mission. Successful interns will be considered for the Dayton Freight Management Trainee Program after they graduate.
What you'll do#
- Learn about our company policies, procedures, and core philosophies.
- Work within the Service Center to support daily operations.
- Gain practical experience across different functional areas.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college program.
- Majors in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operations Management.
- Basic math skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Availability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts.

- Location: Wichita, KS.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $23.95 per hour.
- Status: Full-time and paid.
