About the role#
This is a 9-week management internship taking place during the summer of 2026. You will work on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Interns who complete the program successfully are considered for the Dayton Freight Management Trainee Program once they earn their degree.
What you'll do#
- Learn how the transportation industry operates.
- Study company policies, procedures, and core philosophies.
- Support the daily success of the Service Center.
- Observe how different roles contribute to the overall mission of the company.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college.
- Proficiency in English.
- Basic math skills.
- Availability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts throughout the program.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Logistics.

- Location: Cedar Rapids, IA.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Status: Full-time and paid at $23.95 per hour.
