About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Summer 2026 Management Internship based in Columbia, Missouri. The position is an accelerated 9-week program designed to provide a comprehensive look at the transportation industry. Interns who complete the program successfully will be considered for the Management Trainee Program once they earn their degree.
What you'll do#
- Learn about the transportation industry and the specific policies, procedures, and philosophies of Dayton Freight.
- Study the function of each position within the Service Center to understand how individual roles contribute to the company mission.
- Contribute to the daily success of the Service Center.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college.
- Proficiency in basic math skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Availability to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts throughout the 9-week program.
