Executive Director for Student Health & Well-Being

About the role#

The Executive Director for Student Health & Well-Being provides strategic leadership for the Center for Student Health & Well-Being. This role is responsible for advancing an integrated approach to student health by coordinating clinical services, health promotion, and campus-wide well-being initiatives. The Director reports to the Vice President for Student Life and works across departments to align resources and foster a holistic vision for student health.

What you'll do#

• Provide leadership to the Center for Student Health & Well-Being, including the supervision of clinical and administrative staff.
• Develop, administer, and assess the goals, policies, and activities of the Center to meet the needs of students at a residential liberal arts college.
• Liaise with local doctors, hospitals, clinics, and health agencies to coordinate care.
• Collaborate with students, staff, and faculty to cultivate a comprehensive approach to student well-being.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Center regarding budget, operations, and facilities.
• Participate in divisional leadership meetings and campus task forces related to student health.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health care administration, public health, health sciences, medical administration, or related fields.
• Understanding of college student mental health issues.
• Commitment to inclusive practices related to student health and well-being.
• Knowledge of budget and fiscal processes.
• Ability to comply with HIPAA and FERPA regulations.
• Strong collaboration and team-building skills with the ability to interact with diverse constituents.
