About the role#
As an Electronic Design Intern, you will work within the Electronic Product Development group. You will support the lifecycle of high-voltage inverters and chargers for traction systems, from initial architecture to final production. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of experts focused on the efficiency and quality of traction systems.
What you'll do#
- Design control electronics, including digital, analog, and microcontroller-based circuits.
- Develop power electronics circuits such as DC/DC converters, DC/AC converters, magnetic components, and switching power supplies.
- Participate in the design of analog and digital printed circuit boards while accounting for thermal constraints and signal integrity.
- Order prototype boards and conduct laboratory testing.
- Test complete products on test benches, including motors.
- Supervise technicians and assembly personnel when required.
- Contribute to research and development for new electronic technologies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong documentation skills.
- A proactive, self-sufficient approach to work.
- Ability to apply a critical perspective to your own work and the work of others.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Experience in electronic design, interest in transportation electrification, and knowledge of Altium Designer are considered assets.
