About the role#
This is an on-site, part-time position for students who do not qualify for federal work-study programs. You will support various campus departments by performing essential administrative and technical tasks. This role requires regular and predictable attendance.
What you'll do#
- Perform general office tasks.
- Serve as an aide to instructors, deans, or athletic staff.
- Assist with technician or lab duties.
- Complete required professional development training hours.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in at least one credit hour at Dallas College.
- Compliance with Dallas College Satisfactory Academic Progress standards.
- U.S. citizenship or eligible noncitizen status.
- No prior institutional balances or blocks on your student account.
- Strong organizational skills, maturity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check (some roles may require a fingerprint check).
Location & details#
- Locations: Farmers Branch, Dallas, Mesquite, Lancaster, and Irving, Texas.
- Schedule: Up to 19.5 hours per week.
- Pay: $23.78 per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
