About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to gain hands-on experience with pharmacy operations. This role prepares you for future responsibilities as a pharmacist by providing an overview of store, district, and regional functions.
What you'll do#
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences.
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Operate as part of the team by following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Demonstrate empathy and care in all customer interactions.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ethical principles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Strong focus and the ability to concentrate on tasks over time.
- Ability to pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.

- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time with rolling terms.
