About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a training roadmap that covers store, district, and regional operations. This role prepares you for future responsibilities as a Pharmacist by immersing you in pharmacy team operations.
What you'll do#
- Support pharmacy teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with prescription fulfillment to ensure it is done safely and accurately.
- Follow company standard operating procedures at all workstations, including production, pick-up, and drop-off.
- Demonstrate empathy and genuine care during patient interactions, whether in person or over the phone.
- Complete a structured training roadmap focusing on key learning experiences.
- Assist with inventory tasks, such as cycle counts and putting away medication deliveries.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to remain mobile and stand for extended periods, as well as lift up to 20 lbs.

- Schedule: Part-time, including nights and weekends.
